The onward march of technology

Many years ago I wanted to put my photos online (I still have not digitised the great bulk of them) So, being the only thing to do at that point I wrote my own software to get the job done. It is clunky and awkward, but gets the job done.
That was in the 90's.
Now, there are many free, good photosharing sites up. I don't have to cut my own thumbnail, the user can download the full picture, the organization matches the organization on my computer... etc, etc, etc.
